Refractory bricks and castables for RH steel refining equipment

(1) Alkaline refractory mud. The joint material and bonding material used for laying magnesium chromium bricks in various parts, with a MgO content greater than 90%.

(2) Immersion tube, upper part of vacuum chamber: using aluminum magnesium casting material, with AL2O3 content greater than 90% and MgO content greater than 2%; Magnesium chromium spray repair material with a MgO content greater than 70%; Magnesium chromium material, with a MgO content greater than 70%.

(3) Exhaust pipe and vacuum chamber: Made of thermal insulation material and constructed with high alumina lightweight bricks with an aluminum content greater than 50%, with a volume density of less than 0.9g/cm3.

(4) Vacuum chamber: The insulation layer is made of calcium silicate board as the insulation layer material; The layer is constructed by directly bonding magnesium chromium bricks, with a MgO content greater than 80%; The working layer adopts high aluminum or corundum castables, and the AL2O3 content is required to be greater than 90%.

(5) Vacuum chamber lower part, impregnation tube: using magnesium spray repair material, with a MgO content greater than 85%; The MgO content of magnesia carbon bricks is greater than 85%, the MgO content of aluminum magnesium spinel prefabricated parts is greater than 80%, and the AL2O3 content is less than%.

(6) RH vacuum chamber upper part: using magnesium chromium bricks with MgO content greater than 80%

(7) The lower part of the RH vacuum chamber, circulation pipe, and impregnation pipe are lined with magnesium chromium bricks, with a MgO content greater than 75%.

(8) Immersion tube: The working environment of the immersion tube is harsh, with a short lifespan. The erosion of the inner lining is mainly caused by the erosion of molten steel and the surface thermal peeling caused by the rapid cooling and heating of the treatment gap. The damage to the outer lining is mainly caused by the erosion of the castable due to the oxidation of steel slag. The reason for the material falling from the lower mouth is not only due to the thermal shock damage of the castable itself, but also related to the high-temperature expansion deformation of the internal steel bladder. The lining material is directly combined with magnesium chromium bricks, and the MgO content is greater than 65%.
