What is the difference between high alumina bricks and corundum bricks?

2024-03-14 09:34:56

The main components of high alumina bricks are high alumina bauxite, mullite, and some corundum sand. The difference lies in the amount of alumina content. Products made of silicate aluminum refractory materials with alumina content higher than 48% and Al2O3 content higher than 90% are called corundum bricks.

The main component of high-purity 99 corundum brick is corundum sand, while the main component of 90 corundum brick is corundum sand and a small amount of Suzhou soil and mullite.
